I just wanted to share a very beautiful photo of a out building in Sweeden......I love how the snow from Mother Nature gives it a blanket of warmth and beauty, I also love the aged and crackle of the peeling paint on the wood, and if I had my way my brick home would have small ivy growing all over it, but being married once to a brick layer I know the bad effects that plants can do to brick. Hope everyone is having a wonderful day. HUGS MARY

*I guess we all have good things and bad things about where we live. One of
the lovely things about where our house is, is that it's a stones throw

Hi dear Mary,
So glad you received the little package and that you liked it!!
Love the pictures you have posted here. when I lived in england there were many little cottages covered with ivy with thatched roofs as well.
Hugs to you and keep safe!

It's beautifully dignified, and the touch of red is perfect.
Such a beautiful photograph....snow makes everything so magical and romantic, doesn't it ? I love ivy-clad houses but, as you say, not so good for the brickwork.
.... and, many, many thanks for the lovely comment and birthday wishes. You are so kind and you don't know how much it means to me..... and, I'm still celebrating !!
Have a lovely weekend Mary. XXXX
