PALM SUNDAY

Happy Palm Sunday. I am sure most of you by now have made your Easter plans. I have and everything is settled. I just want to show you what I wanted to use as a Table decoration, I hope it will last till then. DO any of you shop at Costco? I think they have  the most wonderful roses for there price. I finally got these COOL pink poka-dot rain boots and thought I would place these pretty roses in them for a nice Easter diplay. My daughter saw this and said Mom you would by shoes for decorations only! I will use these boots one day in the rain but for now I am going to enjoy there Virgin display. What have you decided to use as a Table center piece?

Hello Blog Friends and Welcome Spring

What a wonderful weekend here in the Pacific Northwest. My husband and I started out with a 1/2 day off on Friday and went out on a little adventure. We were asked to help clean our a storage shed and what ever we wanted was for grabs, just as long as we helped remove all the contents. I was able to score on a whole lot of batting and fabric........The contents held a lot of antique and collectables and a lot of arts and crafts supplies.........this person had her hands into so many different arts and crafts it was simply amazing. I am one that could as well, but I do limit it to Quilting, Counted x-stitch, sewing, and lets not forget gardening........yes I do think of gardeing as a arts and craft project, a on going project. After the clean up on the storage shed, we got home and worked in the yard and green house for a bit, I did manage to plant a new rose, I have 5 more to plant, yes I have bought six so far this year,  I have a problem with plants, it seems I never can have enough. So what are your craft hobbies and what nice score did you get this nice Spring weekend.

Looking forward to the weekend

Hello everyone, hope this week was good. It seems this past week alot of people have been sick with those spring colds. I have been  trying to avoid it, but at times it seems I am feeling the symptoms. You know the headache and the stuffy nose, then the running nose and then that dreaded sore throat. Well cold or no cold, I need to get my spring cleaning done, and one of those jobs is cleaning out some of my tin collection. I have been collecting tins now for 30 years and yes they do stack up. What collections of yours needs spring cleaned?

GLASS GARDEN DOMES (CLOCHE)

Don't you just love them! I have been a fan of them for some time, just wish I would of bought them when they were not so popular like now. I asked my husband to see if he could make me one out of chicken wire, he must of missunderstood what I was meaning. He took wire and wired it around my glass dome and when he showed me it I liked the looks of it so much I just left it that way......................I added the little friendship statement to give it some whimsy....................................Hope all in blog land are having a good week.
