Cooking

I just love this photo. I am not the cook in my house, my husband is, he loves to be in the kitchen and to me that is just fine and dandy. I do however like to do some special things when my family asks  and when I am in the mood. Enjoy your Wednesday. Hugs Mary

Still Here

Hello fellow bloggers, just a quick note to let you know I am still here. I have been real busy around our house and of course my big girl job. I am a hunter's widow at the moment so thought I would share a photo or two of my darling hubby in the woods. Take care all and hope the fall is giving you some lovely color. HUGS MARY

Getting the Geraniums put away for the winter

I have enjoyed my geraniums so much this year...........I feel I need to put them away and see if I can save them for next year. I am going to put a few in the green house and maybe bringing some indoors to see how they do. I have talked to a few friends about this and they say why bother~~~~ well it bothers me to just throw them out. What are your thoughts?

LOVE THIS OUT BUILDING

I could of used this as a play house when I was little. HUGS MARY

Repurposed Desk/ Potting Table

Look at what a small desk and old window and enamel ware pot can do. I asked my husband to put this together. I now want to white wash the whole item if it does not sell first. My first thought is to use it in the summer to put ice in the pot for soft drinks and water, and use the drawers to place any other goodies going on at that time. I could also use it as a cool display item in my shop....................it also can be used for a potting bench as well. Would look good in the green house.................oh it is endless. Have a nice day. HUGS MARY

HOUSEWORK

Hello fellow blog mates. Hope you all had a great eventful weekend. We had some rain, (we had some major rain) it is a clear sign that we are in the Fall mode here in the Pacific Northwest. I was able to get my ornaments mailed out. I was able to get in on a swap for all seasons, and we had to decorate 25 matchboxes. It was fun to do,  this was real different for me beings my time is spent in the garden and quilting I really do not dabble much in just crafting projects..so  now that this is done I need to catch up on my housework. Have a nice Monday.

Pin-Keep

Hello all fellow bloggers, and let me wish you a happy TGIF early. Here is a photo of a pin-keep make-do that I made from a small vintage oil can. The bird is stuffed with fiber fill and fits nicely on the spout, I did a little stitching around the bird to give it a little whimsy, and there is a bell tied to his neck. This item is for sale.............for $8.00 plus shipping, it can be purchased through pay pal. If interested you may contact me by email. Have a great night. HUGS MARY
