New Year , what to start first

What is the first thing to tackle on this new year. I am still on bed rest so the x-mas decorations have to go for another week, I may try to take a few things down but not the tree for sure, it took me a week to decorate it so I am sure it will take a week to take down. Hubby and I have had a artificial tree for about 5 years now and I just love it. The lights are already on it and it looks fabulous even with out the decorations. I love to decorate my tree with lots of pretty ornaments, here are some photo's of some of my new ornaments I bought this year, have a great day everyone Hugs Mary

Your decorations are beautiful!!!!Hope you're feeling better soon-just enjoy the beauty around you for now-plenty of time later to take things down!

Dearest Mary,
I was hoping you were getting much better. I am sorry to see that you are still dealing with it. But in retrospect, it did take me a long time too, about 6 weeks after the diagnosis and meds. While you are resting you should still enjoy all your pretty ornaments and decorations. I still have mine up, as I do every year. It all comes down on the 17TH. That was always what we did at home in Germany. My dad's birthday was on the 16TH, and he wanted it there until the day after. When I pack things up I always think of our Christmases together. Just take it VERY easy. We all want you back fit as a fiddle.
Everytime I see my precious little bottle I smile. I am keeping it out after I put all the rest away.
I wish you a happy and HEALTHY new year my dear friend,
many hugs, Evi
PS. Did you notice that we have the same little angel from Nicole Sayre. Mine is a tad bigger I think. They might have made them in different sizes. Mine came from Carole. I dressed it in an old dolls dress. I love that little doll!
