Mother's Day Brooch Swap

Hello and thanks for stopping by. I want to show you the two special gifts that I got for Mother's Day. I joined the Swap for all seasons and this time the theme was a vintage Mother's Day brooch. We were to send it wrapped in a special way. My husband was so excited for me he unwrapped my gifts B/4 I could take photo's of them...........he loves how we all share our hand made gifts with each other...........My swap partner is Holly from Arizona.............she had this gift wraped in this hanky so nicely it reminded me of how I placed diapers on my daughter.........my husband even noted that the saftey pin was painted white.....it truly was adorable. The pin was attatched to a hand made little quilt......I simply love the care an thought that went into it. I love cameos, they remind me of my mom.........I will always treasure this piece....Holly also added a lovely shabby chic card that I went ahead an pasted the white extra cemeo to it, it looks like it was ment to be there. Thanks again Holly you made my Mother's Day.   The 2nd gift is from my special and dear friend Susan @Art of Mine........she made me the necklace, I love it so much and I am planning on wearing it to a wedding that I will be attending soon........she also sent me a vintage card......look how the card and necklace charm match..............I hope you enjoy the photo's...Love to all.

Happy Mother's day to one of the sweetest ladies I know!

Your cameo is wonderful...looks like it came from Rome. I so appreciate you sharing the details of how Holly presented the brooch is such a special way and too the necklace (from another friend) making it's way to a wedding. Making memories is one of the most special things in life.

A note of 'THANKS' should be in your mailbox soon. It's only 6 am here and soon I will be opening the surprise package (from you) and my Mother's day Vintage brooch from my swap partner Elizath. I wanted to wait until today...to have a surprise waiting for me.

Your husband must be really be someone special, sharing in your fun with blogger friends. Mine too. We are blessed!

Hugs and thanks for always being there caring and inspiring so many friends to love life. It is God's plan for us to do so, no matter what.

God's blessings on you for a perfect day.

Hugs.
