QUILT or GARDEN

Happy Saturday. I am not sure what I want to do today. If the weather pans out today I will work outside.....I have a lot to plant and clean up in the yard. I managed to get two lawns mowed, I will save the third one for next week.......What ever you do this weekend make it fun and safe. Hugs Mary

Quilting and working on my mothers day brooch swap

Have had time to do some hand quilting , hubby is getting around better, our home has a walker, and two cains and a lift for the toilet.........it is looking like a old folks camp here.............funny how life is, when you are having children you have a lot of there items all over the home and now that we need some repaire work on our bodys we have to have all these items to get by..........I will be mailing out my Mother's Day brooch swap tommorw.............I will post what I made for my partner........I also will be mailing out a gift to my Step mom, and my two dear past blog swap partners. spring in to the garden

I was able to get my hands dirty today..............when hubby took his naps I was able to get some gardening done........it started to rain so I had to quit earlier than I wanted to........but that was a good thing I was starting to fell the strain I was putting on my body............I have a tendacy to over do it when I work in the yard..................hubby is still in a lot of pain die to his knee replacement........I really feel for him.......Take care all Hugs Mary.

Hubby is getting around

Hubby had his real first therapy apt. today....it really wore him out today....I hope he is going to sleep well tonight.  I am going to have to catch up on our chores while he is on the mend. Hugs Mary

My hubby is going to have total knee replacement surgery tommorow......................depending on what type of patient he will be will determine what outfit I will wear, he has asked that I please don't play the roll of Annie in the American thriller of Misery...........................I am hopeing he is a good patient so I can wear one of these. vintage mirrors and fishing creel

I just wanted to show you a photo of last years flowers in my creel, I love this old vintage mirror......................it at one time was attatched to a dresser so I rescued it and hung my creel on it so I can enjoy my flowers from the garden.
