Beautiful Vintage Pitcher and Beautiful flowers

This is why I love vintage things, this crazed pitcher came from Finland, I found it at a garage sale a couple of years ago. I hope to visit there some day. I picked these beautiful blooms from my garden. I just love these colors....................I have a quilt going on right now with these shades.................................the fabric is from    FIG TREE QUILTS.....................if you are quilter I am sure you have seen her beautiful line of fabric. My cool score of a CHAIR!

Can you just believe this beauty, the man I got this from thought I was out of my mind. I am really thinking of just wipping it down good, rubbing on some water down white paint and making a gunny sack cushion. I want to leave the stuffing hanging in the back. I just love the way it looks..............call me SILLY!!!! I find myself loving items more and more that have such worn and tough bones..............They are ment to be saved from the landfills and admired, they have done there time. Lamp shade for vintage jug

Well here it is, my attempt to make a lamp out of a red wing jug............I have been wanting to do this for sometime but did not have a shade big enough. I found the shade at a garage sale for a $1.00. I have a lot of dollies so I took a large one and cut the center out. I then folded over the edges and glued with elmers glue. I used a vintage ribbon to add a little shabby chic to it. I love the light when it is on at night it has a romantic look. I also want to mention Laura at 52 FLEA is having a 500 post give back, you really need to get over to her blog and check it out! You may want to win this one. I love all the vintage items she likes to take photo's of, I have enjoyed her site a lot this past 9 months.........I am a newbee to this blog thing and I love it alot. Have a great Day!!!! XO MARY

Thatched Roofs

I do not know about the rest of you, but I just love this roof. I asked my husband if he could do this for me on my little shop. He told me in a nice way that this has to be done by a talented group of people.......................OH!!! but he told me he was talented...............OK! I understand............but just think how awesome it would be to have. I have found myself  loving anything that is over seas.....................I love all that is old from any part of Europe............I would love to win the LOTTO so I can be on a permanent junkin trip...........Nice thought. Great Junkin Weekend.

Wow, had a great junkin weekend. I need to download my photos so you can see my awesome old shabby chair and vintage baby buggy. This old door was for free and I took it off my cell phone. Don't you just love the hardware.........I just love how people look at you when you tell them you will take something they are giving away......They look at me like I am totally nuts, OH WELL, NUTS I am ok with that.............I love doors, I use them inside for props for my vintage quilts...........the little attic doors are just the best cause they are light weight and small.......the quilts look nice upgainst the wall with my quilts drapping off them..........other doors I use in the garden...I have taken the panels out and placed chicken wire on them so my hops can grow up them and allso any vine will work well with them. LOVE PINK

Garden bench/Bed Real Eye Candy

My brother in law was so happy to send this photo on FACEBOOK,  this photo is  from his 4th of JULY trip to the East of the Mountains. He is such a tease..................I would of sat on this bench and would of not budged till I was able to bring it home with me. PHOTO CLIPS TO DREAM OVER

I just had to share these photo's. If  I was able to wave a wand, here are some items that would be used in my kitchen. I love this vintage stove...............this stove to me looks like a piece of furniture.............................the curtains hanging from the counter is as simple as bread and butter but it also has such a romantic feel to me.............how can something be so simple and elegant at the same time. Now for the cubbord...I can only imagine what it would feel like to fill it up.................when I see photo's like these it makes me wish I would of not passed up on certain things over the years.....................Have a nice night..............XO MARY

Look at this get together set up

I just want to throw a party when I see all these things together. I am in love with how simple and very easy all this is. I love the can food tins for flowers, the glass jug with the juice in it, the little white cubbord now how darn cute is that. The other photo with the ice cream in it is just cleaver...................now I just need to get a quilt and lay down and dream....................The sun is causing me to get all giddy.    XO MARY

GOT ANY OUTSIDE PROJECTS GOING ON

I had a good day on Monday in the yard. I was able to help my husband on our newly remodeled deck and I created a new walk way for my shop.......................These are photo's of inspiration from the DIY magazine..........Hope all is going well for everyone and if you have any outdoor projects going on, you are able to make some head way on them.
