Hello Blog Friends and Welcome Spring

What a wonderful weekend here in the Pacific Northwest. My husband and I started out with a 1/2 day off on Friday and went out on a little adventure. We were asked to help clean our a storage shed and what ever we wanted was for grabs, just as long as we helped remove all the contents. I was able to score on a whole lot of batting and fabric........The contents held a lot of antique and collectables and a lot of arts and crafts supplies.........this person had her hands into so many different arts and crafts it was simply amazing. I am one that could as well, but I do limit it to Quilting, Counted x-stitch, sewing, and lets not forget gardening........yes I do think of gardeing as a arts and craft project, a on going project. After the clean up on the storage shed, we got home and worked in the yard and green house for a bit, I did manage to plant a new rose, I have 5 more to plant, yes I have bought six so far this year,  I have a problem with plants, it seems I never can have enough. So what are your craft hobbies and what nice score did you get this nice Spring weekend.

I agree Mary, I think gardening can be very creative - your roses are going to look fabulous I'm sure.

What fun sorting out the shed and its collectibles - your freebie acquisitions are so sweet!

I Mary,
Yes I agree gardening can be an art form. Look at Monet garden...so inspiring.
Can't wait to see the roses you are growing. I think I need to plant a few different ones myself.

Also, thank you for the order. I think you'll love the magazine.

Debra

Sounds like a good days work.
I will start to venture out into the garden soon. It's still a little cold here but a couple of weeks should do it. XXXX
