GOT A TOUCH OF SORING FEVER

I got a touch of spring fever real bad........My husband and I are trying to get some much needed inside projects done so we can spend the summer outside. I buy flowers for inside alot to help uplift my spirt cause fall and winter have a way of making me feel blue.........the rain and gray can be real depressing at times.......................What does daylight savings do for you.

THE NEW CEILING, IT WAS HARD TO DO BUT AS YOU CAN SEE WELL WORTH IT.

Two rooms are now considered done............The sewing room has been repainted and now the Library/ sitting room it done........it feels so good to have these done so soon into the year......The library was so much fun it was the first time my husband and I wallpapered the ceiling........it was tough but well worth it......The colors are very warm......It is nice to have all my books now in one place and not taking over my living room floor...........I hope you enjoy the photo's......................next room the Family room..........What fun projects are you working on in your home.

TWO DOWN SEVERAL MORE TO GO

What a wonderful weekend here in the Pacific Northwest. First off it was  just beautiful here and for those not familure with our climate, when it is nice, it is to die for.............Spring is just around the corner and I can hardly wait........I was able to work in the yard a little and it does help me to get out in the sun and fresh air, all the spring plants are comming up...............can't wait to take photo's for you............My sewing room has been re painted.............and organized here are a couple of photo's to give you some idea of my maddness .

HELLO ALL, AND HAPPY SUPER BOWL WEEKEND, NO MY TEAM IS NOT IN THE BOWL, BUT BEING A SPORT FAN OF ALOT OF SPORTS I STILL ENJOY IT......I AM GOING FOR THE SAINTS....................WE HAD NICE WEATHER HERE IN WASHINGTON STATE WHY THE EAST COAST IS GETTING HAMMERED WITH SNOW, I KNOW HOW THEY FEEL, WE HAD THE RECORD SNOW FALL IN 2008.............I WANTED TO SHARE THE CHAIRS MY SISTER HAD GIVEN TO ME, IT WAS COOL SHE THOUGHT OF ME CAUSE THEY COULD OF BEEN DONATED TO THE GOODWILL. THEY ARE FROM 1861 AND IT IS A MATCHING HIS AND HERS...WE REMOVED THE SEAT OFF THE ROCKER AND INSIDE FOUND THE VINTAGE GARMENT......THE GARMENT IS A WOMENS UNDERGARMENT CAN YOU IMAGINE WEARING THIS, I DONT THINK SO...ANYWAYS I JUST LOVE GETTING FREE THINGS, YOU NEVER KNOW WHEN IT IS GOING TO HAPPEN BUT WHEN IT DOES IT SEEMS LIKE YOU WON THE LOTTO...............LET ME KNOW ABOUT YOUR FREE STUFF........GO HAVE A NICE WEEK.     XO MARY

This is in the CIRCUS ROOM, where the grooms stand in's were getting ready, there were 8 of them, this was not wallpapeer border this was a raised plaster and then painted. I just loved it. The light looked like baloons hanging. Can you just imagine how these guys had a blast in this room, my husband said it was not easy getting them all to get with the program but it all ended well.

WEDDING AT THE HISTORIC DAVENPORT HOTEL IN SPOKANE WASHINGTON

The historic motel is so large. Here is where they added a new parking garage we needed to go across the street in order to take this photo. I think they did a nice job doing the addition, in the backgroud you can see the original motel. This place is just wonderful, expensive but well worth the stay.My husbands middle daughter got married here this past weekend and was it ever a joyous night. I really loved all the vintage details that were in this place.
