#3 matchbox

Hello, hope you all are having fun with your matchbox's. Here is my number 3. It was made by Denisemarie in Houston, Tx. #2 matchbook swap

Hello and here is #2. This little jewell, was made by Carol Gomer from

http://heirloomsforyou.blogspot.com/. I love the color's on this little cutie. This one would make a very nice wedding favor as well do to the pastel shades she used. I can not get over how darn cute her little heart is that has the number 2 on it. The box opens up so easy and inside it has the cutest little beaded charm. I am going to place this on my little tree next to number 1. Carol seems to be a very busy gal with her Etsy shops so if you have a moment or two do stop over her site for a visit. Matchbox swap

Hello and welcome to December. I was able to join in the matchbox swap. This was a real arts and crafts project for myself. We had to decorate a total of 25 matchboxes and place a small tinker inside. I was so excited to get all 25 in the mail. ALL of them came in there own little baggie and it has been fun going thru each and every one. I will post each one so you can see how darn cute they all are. I am going to place them on a small tree and cherish them always.

The first one you see in the photo was made by Shannon Linde of Madison, WI. I love the colors she used, she placed a book mark inside that is so charming. Random photo's of x-mas stockings and one cool hot water bottle cover

I just love Christmas stockings, especially the ones made from vintage quilts. I have several in my home and keep them up all year long. First the beauty of them gets me every time. I am a avid hand quilter so I know the time it takes to make a quilt, second I love the idea to repurpose those quilts that have been loved to DEATH, thirdly they are art to me, and however you use them in your home they simply bring a smile every time I look at them. I also am showing you a hot water bottle cover that is simply adorable. The cold is on our way to the PACIFIC NORTHWEST so this bottle looks like something I need in my home.
