First day of Fall

Hello all, hope you are looking forward to winding down and resting for the fall and winter.

  Hello everyone and hope everyone had a wonderful Holiday's. I am starting to clean up from Christmas, however doing it slow. This is the first time I do not have to jump into it on a weekend do to a work schedule. I retired in 2014 and everday is a Saturday for me so this is a true blessing. How are you all doing with the Christmas clean up? Are you kind of sad to see it go or excited, I have both feelings. It's cold out there

Here in the Pacific Northwest is normal, we have rain and a pretty average temp of over 40. Hope all you out there are staying warm and finding some fun things to do inside. XO Mary

Good Start to the New Year

I am so glad that I took the extra days off after the New Years. This gives me extra days to clean up after Christmas. Love Christmas decorations, and boy do I have them. This extra time also gets me in sink with my new weight watcher program and exercise program. Have a great day all. XO Mary

Right Time for Remodeling

My Brother asked me what started this. I told him I went to clean the bathroom and then got so disgusted that things started to just come off the walls. I say there is really no right time. However I have ideas up the wazoo, from years of looking at books and the internet. I have had my  bathroom supplies bought and stored away for some time now. Call it nervous energy, or just call it nesting. I never know when it is going to strike me. When has the bug hit you to revamp your home. Happy Monday. XO Mary

Hello dear fellow bloggers, it is getting cold here in the Pacific Northwest. New Garden Bench

New vintage pretty

Hello all my fellow bloggers, how have all of you been. I am here, just not been a big fan of writting just enjoying all of you. I just wanted to show you all a lovely new quilt that I purchased at a Estate sale. This is just beautiful. For as old as it is,  it is very big, and is it ever quilted. I am sure my hubby was not to sure why I fell in love with it, but he knew it had to be mine. I wanted to save it from being cut up. I will keep it out and live with it so it can be seen by all, the colors just warm my heart. If by chance any one of you out there know the pattern please let me know.
