Here is one of my favorite doors that my husband brought home to me, can you believe someone discarded this item. We love how cracked it is. I placed a large clock on the top of the door and my husband put a shelf on it so I could place some books and one of my favorite gifts from nature, the bird nest that I have placed in my crystal pie plate. This door is so heavy that it does not need any bracing it rests against the wall just fine.
