First Day of Summer

FACEBOOK
June 21st, it is the first day of summer and my BIRTHDAY.............the rain was back again this past weekend. The plants are happy......I think the hydrengas like it the best............here in Washington we get a lot of rain, but this past spring it seems to be more than normal.........we will probably get the sun and heat all at once and then the plants will get fried.....................I hope all will enjoy the longest day of the year.  XO MARY

  5. Like you, I am a gardener and I also wish the weather was always perfect.
We are between too much rain, really dry and now there is a ravenous woodchuck.
    Sometimes you just cannot win!
    Oh well,

  6. Happy Birthday! Sweety!
Yes Hydrangeas love rain and I think all the rain we had early spring is the reason they are huge this year. My endless summer that I've never been impressed with is amazing this year....I feel badly now saying such terrible things about it.
    Have a good weekend!
