OMG! look what I was able to score on my weekend junking. I have always wanted a doll like this. This is how I got her, Her body is in tack, no chew marks and not tacky to the touch, She has a lazy eye that is about it. I have been told from one of my Antique buddies that since the eyes are metal it is from the 1912-1920's. I plan on keeping her the way I found her. How was your weekend?
What a precious doll! I can imagine how loved she was! I wonder why her little girl owner didn't keep her.

ReplyDeleteThank you for dropping by for a visit. I am always amazed how things are not left with their original owner. I guess if one was to keep everying they acquired they would not have a place big enough to hold it all in. LOL
ReplyDeleteyour blog is darling...thanks for stopping by mine...
ReplyDeleteJunking is one of the best past times! You find swell things that just jump into your arms. You never knew you needed them before that moment. And then you find a treasure you have desired for a while. Congrats on your new doll!
