WISHING ALL A HAPPY 4TH OF JULY

I want to wish all a Happy and Safe 4th of July. I was looking thru the Pottery Barn sales ads and was loving all the reds and blues...........this one was real inviting. We have not had much warm weather here so the photo made me think of heat................right............if you are by water it must be warm. Don't get me wrong, here in the Northwest we are pretty lucky to mild weather.........so enjoy and be safe and have fun were ever you may be in this large Planet of ours. XO MARY

First Day of Summer

 June 21st, it is the first day of summer and my BIRTHDAY.............the rain was back again this past weekend. The plants are happy......I think the hydrengas like it the best............here in Washington we get a lot of rain, but this past spring it seems to be more than normal.........we will probably get the sun and heat all at once and then the plants will get fried.....................I hope all will enjoy the longest day of the year.  XO MARY

Happy Fathers Day Dad

Happy Fathers Day Dad and all fathers out there. This is one of a few photo's I have of my father meeting me for the first time. I  have a nice one of him in his navy outfit seeing me for the first time in a cab, it was his arrival back home to the States.........My father was in Japan when I was born. I am also the eldest of his clan of children and it seems that God blessed him with my arrival on Father's Day back in 1959!!!!!!!!!!    Happy Father's Day again dad! I love you. XO MARY

WAITING FOR SUMMER

So how is the weather for all of you out there. Here in Washington it has been on the cool side.It seems we have a few warm days then it is back to the chilly side for a week. My plants are doing ok, but they could be better with some heat.

I would love to see some warmer weather, I had to use the fireplace last night, crazy,,,,,,,,,,How are you dealing with Spring/Summer.............XO MARY

BEAUTIFUL WEDDING

The wedding was just beautiful. My husbands son got married this past weekend and Mother Nature made it very special to. The lovely couple planned very well and made all the guests very comfortable. Here is just a few shots to give you a idea of the nice day. The wedding took place on America Lake in Tacoma Washington...................if you are ever around the area stop by.....................the evening ended with fire works my step son wanted to end the evening with a BANG! I am glad I was able to spend this special day with my husband. Hope all is well with all of you. XX MARY
