First Rain

Hello all you wonderful blog people. I am enjoying the first rain in over 88 days here in Western Washington. The yard has 75 percent been put to sleep for the season. Still have a few more things to do. I just have a hard time letting some of the beautiful annuals die off, I will do my best to keep some of the geraniums they were so awesome this year. Now is the time to get back to quilting and looking forward to the holidays. Peace and Love Mary

Hello dear friends. I have been here just not putting to much on my blog. It seems to me that blogging is like a diary and that I do not mind doing but not everyday. I do however like reading what is going on in your life..............................I have become a great fan of Pinterest. I love looking and pinning and I feel there are no strings attatched. So enough of that, enjoy the cool mornings and evenings and especially enjoy the warm days. We here in the Pacific Northwest have been blessed with no rain  for 2 and 1/2 months. I undersatnd from my hubby that the Almanac has us listed for cold snow in January and Feb. of 2013 so I am preparing my self for it. Lots of boots, gloves and of course coats and vests...lets not forget the coffee and wood for my fireplace, take care Hugs Mary
